I always hear people saying that they don’t have time to exercise. I used to be the same. The thought of physical activity made me cringe.
My Mum has always been active every day, getting her runs in early. She is 71 and still runs 5km per day.
She eventually inspired me to start moving more. The more I did it, the better I felt, about everything.
Fast forward 20 years and, despite various ups and downs, I make sure I get my exercise in early everyday.
I change it up and do different things so I am never bored with the same routine.
Sometimes I’m in a hurry so I’ll smash out 15 -20 mins High Intensity Interval Training or take my dog for a 15 minute run.
Once you commit to doing something everyday, and keep doing it for 3 weeks, you will be well on the way to creating an amazing, life long habit.

So yesterday I stepped well outside my comfort zone.
I was supposed to be volunteering for the day at Miss Muddy, then running the course with a group of other people.
They all pulled out.
I was so tempted to do the same but because it scared me to go, I embraced that fear and did it anyway!
